VISITING STUDENTS AND AUDITION ROTATIONS

Medical students can rotate with our program for an audition rotation. Prospective emergency medicine applicants will be able to experience the day-to-day of work in a busy suburban emergency department and work closely with faculty and residents in caring for a complex population with high morbidity.

The Franciscan system does not currently accept medical students through VSAS. Please email Jacqueline.Claxton@franciscanalliance.org to receive the application. It will be a first come-first serve process after all materials are received and reviewed.

 

We are only accepting 4 students per block. Not all students (despite openings/materials received) will be granted an audition rotation.

Audition students will be required to attend residency didactics every Wednesday morning as well as complete the SAEM exam and a presentation at the end of the rotation (the SAEM does not replace the COMAT that is required by some schools.)
