I am a fitness enthusiast, picking up heavy weights for multiple repetitions and subsequently putting them back down makes me happy. Once upon a time I ran spartan races and tough mudders... but I now mostly enjoy running to whatever I am late to. I enjoy health policy and advocacy work, I have previously served as a delegate and committee chair in the American Medical Association. Within medicine, I am very excited about Point Of Care Ultrasound and I am a member of the Ultrasound Leadership Academy. Cardiac ultrasound/echocardiography are my favorite types of exams, I hope to one day bring Transesophageal Echo to the emergency department for regular use.

I may have a subconscious desire to be on reality TV: I used to be a bar trivia host, which inadvertently led to me being on an episode of Cash Cab: Chicago (but, sadly, it never aired). I also filmed a Real World audition tape back in college. I regret not sending it in.
